Drawer Cases:
NOTE:
I don't make the drawer cases on this page anymore, or I don't make them to keep on the shelf anyway. None-the-less, I think this page has value to my customers as a source of ideas, sizes, wood types etc. You might start here and then go to Fully Custom Drawer-Cases or Semi-Custom Drawer Cases to start the process of getting you EXACTLY what you want for your collection.
Jewelry Boxes:
These are my smallest drawer cases. They are simple, but simple in the manner of a country oak classic. The drawers are sized to hold standard jewelry inserts. They are lined with thick green felt if you prefer not to use liners. Each drawer has a single brass knob and slides on waxed hardwood runners. Most suitable on m'lady's dresser or make-up table.

Locks:
Gang locks are available for Jewelry Boxes for an additional $75. The bottom drawer of a locking case must, however, be 2" tall -about 1 1/2" on the inside, vs. 1" on the regular jewelry boxes. Gang-locks use a single key-hole on the side of the box that unlocks all the drawers at once.
Any of the cases on this page can have locks installed.
Additionally, any of these drawer cases can be made with as many drawers as you want as a custom piece. Check out my Customer's Scrapbook to see some of the work I've done for other collectors with HUGE collections.
Riker-Mount Drawer Case:
A slightly larger case perfectly sized to hold the classic Riker Mount displays. Collectors use Riker Mounts for many purposes, but the classic application is for the butterfly collection. Imagine colorful memories of summers-at-the-seashore lovingly preserved in glass covered cases and these cases carefully stored in one of these cases. Imagine further the pride and ease of your children showing their friends the collection. This case is finished in medium oak and each drawer has a single brass pull and luxurious felt lining, and cherry, maple, & walnut are also available. Multi-Depth Drawer Cases:
The Multi-Depth line is certainly the most useful and versatile of all my drawer cases. The top of the 6 drawers is relatively shallow in depth and each drawer increases in depth till the bottom one which is of a generous depth. This case would be perfect for the collection of different but related items. These collector's cases come in two sizes and 4 species of wood. Each drawer-bottom is lined with green felt.
Large Oak Multi-Depth:
May I wax poetic about the various kinds of wood I use? Make wood into people perhaps? Oak is definitely masculine. I think of oak like a tough, quite, old world craftsman, -walrus moustache, open vest, and meerschaum pipe.

The following are just like the oak case above, but just a little more expensive:
Large Cherry Multi-Depth:
Cherry is also feminine, but quite different from maple. Think of her as a fiery gypsy. A bit loud, and bit over the top. Can wood have a temper? If so -cherry can go off, but in the right place and if you treat her right.....
Large Maple Multi-Depth:
Now maple is definitely feminine. I think of a cool Nordic beauty. Tall, deceptively delicate in appearance. Iron fist in a velvet glove.
Large Walnut Multi-Depth:
Consider walnut: Walnut is an English aristocrat. Wearing an ascot if you please. Hard, understated, and -it must be said- just a little difficult to work with.

Large Drawer Cases:
Large 2-Depth:
This is it. This is the big time. Put your collection in one of these cases and it becomes a serious collection by default. The same carefully crafted drawers as above, they are just wider and deeper. There are three shallow drawers at the top and three deeper drawers at the bottom.
Each drawer has two brass knobs, a rich layer of green felt lining the bottom, and waxed hardwood runners for smooth operation. Be sure to check out my How-To article, Adaptable Drawer Linings for tips on making these drawers perfectly compliment your collection.
