Various and Sundry Display Cases and Useful Things:
Doll Display Case: | |
This case is simple and elegant -and as such -it shows off your dolls to the best effect. In fact -put any old doll in this case, hang her on the wall, and she becomes a collectable. But if you put a beautiful and valuable doll here-in, it becomes a focal point among other valuable collectables. The case is black leatherette over wood, with chrome hinges and clasp. That's a crystal clear glass pane to resist scratches and dust. The background is a neutral gray knit cloth -so as not to distract from you doll's accoutrement. There is a carefully designed support that fits behind the small of the doll's back and two clear vinyl ribbons to tie her into place so she can be hung on the wall.

Standing Doll Display Cases:
This is a surprisingly attractive solution for your Barbie dolls, but it is -quite frankly- made out of the same sort of plastic used in making peanut putter jars. About the same thickness too. Still and all, it’s crystal clear. The ‘sides’ of the case unfold into a box, and fit into a grove in the base and the lid is made from the same stuff. I’m sure it is all dust proof. The Barbie doll is supported by this stand sort of thing that kind’a grabs her around the waist. The stand inserts into the base, which is a heavier kind of black plastic. It’s about 13 inches over all and just under 7 inches on a side.Shipping via USPS @1/2 pound, or $3.50 per item.

Multi-Cell Jewelry Box Inserts:
While these are designed for jewelry display cases, they might serve a number of of purposes for the collector. The black flocking sets off any thing you would put therein with elegant contrast, (except flat-black items perhaps.) If your collection is made up of a large number of smallish items that want to be picked-up and appreciated, these liners are ideal. Furthermore, if you are a hobbyist more then a collector, and use lots of small items that are easy to loose or get confused, these inserts might solve your problem. I have sold them-for example-to model railroad enthusiasts who use them for the tiny little parts of railroad cars, and also to people who are into embroidery and beads and who use them for their floss, beads and whatnot. They fit perfectly into both the Jewelry Boxes or the Jewelry Salesmen's Display Cases

Like the multi-cell inserts above, these are designed for holding rings and fit perfectly into either the Jewelry Boxes or the Jewelry Salesmen's Cases. This felt and the underlying foam is slit into 6 rows of 12 cozy little slots for whatever. $5.00 5 or more -$4.00 each -see below. |

Pen Insert: | |
The Pen Inserts also fit the Jewelry Boxes or the Jewelry Salesmen's Cases, but are a little narrower. This size fits pens of the standard size, as well as the fat fountain pens so popular with collectors. They are made of precisely routed medium-density-fiberboard and covered with green thick felt. It's dimensions are 6 1/8 inched deep by 14 inches long. Shipping via USPS 1 pound, or $3.50 per item. $7.00 |
Document Mount: | |
This case is framed in mahogany. Light and dark oak as well as pale maple are also available. |
For those things that deserve more then a picture frame, but less then a shadow box., I offer what I call the Document Mount. It is essentially a flat shadow box, but instead of the hinged door, the acrylic window, frame top, and the top side of the case all slide up and off. This allows the document to be changed easily. Think menus in fancy restaurants or announcements of the days activities in convention centers. The overall size is 20 inches wide and 14 inches high by about 1 1/2 inch thick. The inside is 11 1/2 by 17 1/2 inches. This allows for two regular sheets of paper, (shown) a big sheet, or a single sheet or really important stuff to be displayed. $39.00 Buy It page |
