Sausalito is incredible! You take BART to the Civic Center stop and then a Golden Gate Transport buss over the bridge and into Sausalito. Costs $1.50 for BART and $3 or 4 for the bus, (one way.) Bill H. (from Colorado 7 / 08) |

Good (internationally diverse) food around the corner and on Valencia. Only places to disappoint are across the street -a little expensive and snooty, and the Pakistani Restaurant (small servings of mediocre food) on 16th. Otherwise you can't go wrong. the Brandon Family 6 / 08

My wife and I really liked the Mission Delores. Up the hill on 15th just a few blocks. Then we walked down Deloris and caught a bus to the Castro and on to Haight Ashbury, Incredible views of the city to the NE. M. Stewart. |
